Many people don't know about the women Before Rosa parks. Before Parks there were three girls Susie mcdonald, Claudette Colvin and Mary louise smith who had challenged the segregation laws in Alabama.

Browder V. Gayle was a court case decided on in June 5, 1956. This case was brought about because of the Montgomery bus boycott which was when African American. After a long trial the Alabama court ruling was in favor of Gayle because they had realized it was in violation of the 14th amendment.
